Shannon gave Boone his Christmas present early this year.
She had bought the tickets for the trip to Sydney. Said it was a reward for not destroying their part of Mom's business. Said it was a reward for her too, for putting up with him for another year.
Really, it was a chance for both of them to spend time together without having to hide in their house.
Here, they were a normal couple who had arguments over restaurants and who kissed on the beach and who kicked sand at each other playfully.
Here, they didn't have to hide.
Title: Elephants and Armpits
"Here." Boone shoved a small package at her.
"What is it? It looks like it an elephant sat on it."
"It's your Christmas present."
Shannon blinked. "Where did you get a Christmas present? The Rape Cave's Gift Shop?"
"Very funny. I got it before we left Sydney."
"Can I open it?"
"No, you have to wait until Santa gets here."
"I hate you." Making a face at him, she struggled to open the crushed box. "It's not even wrapped."
"Shut up and open it."
"Thought you could use it," Boone smirked. "Plus, its my favorite, so if you bathe in it, it won't make me sneeze."
"Well, if you didn't feel the need to sleep with your face in my armpit, you wouldn't have to smell me."
"I like your armpit," he leered.
"That's because you are sick and wrong."
"Fine. And nice. Thank you."
Kate had yet to understand how he did it.
She would just be sitting around thinking about how nice it would be to have some odd little thing or other, and Sawyer would turn up within minutes with whatever it was draped around his neck or tucked
under his arm.
Generally, she could convince him to barter for it. Not always, though.
She will still bitter about the sunglasses.
So today, when she was daydreaming about sex, it really shouldn't have surprised her when Sawyer showed up carrying a box of condoms.
The bartering for those was exceptionally easy.
Title: Santa Hurley
Pairing: Charlie/Claire.. mentions of others.
Warnings: Sillyness abounds!
Hurley was heartily sick of watching the moony looks between Charlie and Claire.
He was tired of having to be the suggestion box and complaint center for both of them.
And he was tired of this damn island. And all the green, and the ocean, and the sand, and the crazy people.
And if everyone else was going crazy, why shouldnt he?
So he found himself a hat, and started taking wishes.
Walt wanted a new leash for Vincent. Hurley agreed, cause that dog getting out and coming back with blood on his muzzle was really creepy.
Shannon wanted a new razor. With some bartering with Sawyer, Hurley found both Shannon and Sawyer an acceptable compromise. And it got them both out of the way, although Hurley couldnt figure out why Boone looked so pissy about getting his sister out from underfoot.
Boone probably wanted his sister. Or Jack. Hurley wasnt quite clear on that.
Charlie and Claire wanted each other.
Hurley borrowed the baby, Kate, and some drapes, and they fixed up a corner of the caves. Locke arranged to take a hunting party out, and Shannon (being remarkably helpful) coerced her brother into teaching everyone else how to do laundry.
Hurley convinced Charlie that Claire needed something, which wasn't hard to do, and shoved Charlie into the cave when Claire was sleeping.
Shannon had already taken her clothes, so she wasnt exactly wearing much.
Hurley just wished he had known before hand how LOUD they both were.
But he plugged the baby's ears and went back to introducing him to the way of the Jedi.
