ARASHI: Sho and Aiba - Laugh

Useless Things

First of all, rumor has been confirmed, and Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is going to be released as a drama! HELLO VERY EXCITED. YES PLEASE NOW PLEASE!!

Pick a paragraph (or any passage less than 500 words) from any fanfic I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

..i'll actually be surprised if anyone does this, but hey.

Am I being mean for asking for this? *g*

Ji-Eun slide down to sit beside him on the floor and took the lacy apron out of his hands. "No, I didn't get them confused." She looped the top of the apron around his neck and smiled - a slow, naughty smile that Young-Jae had only seen once before. "This is your new uniform for cleaning."
...I hate you.

I wrote this shortly after finishing this stupid show that I was SO addicted to, and i SO hated it and myself and the WORLD and you and Bek for making me watch it. But Young-Jae and Ji-Eun were totally adorable, and she SO TOTALLY OWNS HIS ASS in the last episode, and you made some comment about her ordering him around, and this was actually the LEAST porny thing that came out of my head. There was another bit floating around that never came together that involved Ji-Eun pinning Young-Jae to the couch, and one of his extremely ugly shirts being used to er..clean up afterward, and him being mortally offended by that. That never got further than the pretty mental pictures. Instead, you get Ji-Eun owning Young-Jae and a frilly white apron for him to wear while she orders him around and ogles.

An Oldie but a Goodie!

From "Broken Like Dolls" which I always loved:

She was tiny and frail and looked like she could break in half. She didn’t wear shoes and she heard voices and she could slip around Serenity like a shadow and she had shown up in his bunk two weeks ago in the middle of the night and smiled and he knew the rest were all dead.

He was left alive, for some reason only she knew, and he couldn’t find her and she wasn’t talking.

And the rest had disappeared.

There was no bodies. There was nothing left at all but empty rooms.

In the doc’s room, her sheets were pulled tight and the blanket was folded back just so, but he had never caught her coming in here and that’s why he was sleeping on the floor next to the bed with a gun in his hands.

Re: An Oldie but a Goodie!

This one is hard, because it's so old! Ok!

I wrote this less than a month after seeing Serenity for the first, second, and third time, and it's a little difficult to fully trace what i was thinking at the time. I know it involved River's shooting pose from "no power in the verse can stop me," with her hair in her face, and the blank eyed stare when River takes Simon out in the BDM, plus Jayne's statement of "if she goes wooly again, you're going to have to put a bullet in her." And the idea of her losing it so completely, and Jayne, being technically the strongest and the most likely to survive, being the only one left standing. I like how she is never ever shown in this, too. It's always worse when you can't see what's happening. When people are just..disappearing around you, and all you have is your own imagination to tell you what happened. And Jayne doesn't scare easy, so to see him losing it in fear intrigues me.

As to what actually happened to the others, well...yeah, they're dolls. Morbid, creepy, dead dolls.
