ARASHI: Sho and Aiba - Laugh

Anyone who is in or around the Greeley, Colorado area on Friday, March 3 should come to the Farr Library at 6:30 pm to see Serenity on a semi-large screen!

We do a film discussion group once a month, and i nagged the group into showing Serenity for March.

Afterwards, we do have a discussion group, so this post is two pronged.

1) Friday, March 3, 2006 at the Farr Library - be there. if you need directions, let me know

2) Any suggestions for discussion questions would be highly appreciated. Please remember that non-Browncoats will be there, so questions need to be Serenity focused.

*huggles you*

If I could get to CO for that, you know I would.

I have March 3rd off... *wonders how long it takes to drive to CO*
Oooooh. Wow, would you mind if I linked this to the Mile-High Browncoats mailing list? (Are you on the mailing list? If you are, apologies for jumping ahead of you, then, eep.)
Please! link away! i want Browncoats there. :)
Woohoo! Tis done - they're at http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/MileHighBrowncoats , if you're interested in looking in. *bows* If I can't make it Greeleywards by then, I'll just wish you the best of luck on it, eh? It's a great idea.

bad timing

wow that sounds really awesome and I would totally be there to meet everyone if i weren't working that weekend up in the mountains!

any way to meet these fellow browncoats another time?

Re: bad timing

we could probably set something up, if youre interested? mainly, this just fits in with the film group timing. we watch lots of other movies, i just managed to convince the film group that we needed to watch Serenity.

Re: bad timing

Is this part of the UNC film group? I've heard about it from a couple folks who thought I should join.... I am a film studies major, but taking a year off from school, so it sounds like something I'd enjoy.

Re: bad timing

Nope, the regular library. you know how you do book groups? this is a film group-same type of thing. im just a volunteer.

Random Browncoat here via the Cortex

I am (probably) so there. But I definitely need directions of some kind, or just an address so I can Mapquest it. I'll be coming from Colorado Springs, and I've never been to Greeley.

As to discussion questions, this is just off the top of my head, but...
What do you think about the inherent paradox in the Operative's life? That is to say, is it possible to create "a better world" with a foundation of evil acts?
Um, that's actually all I can think of just now. Maybe I'll post more later.

Re: Random Browncoat here via the Cortex

1939 61st Avenue
Greeley, CO 80634

Phone: (970) 506-8500

Mapquest will probably give you better directions than i will..but basically, 25N to Loveland/Greeley exit, east towards Greeley. You'll be on 34. 61st Ave runs N/S, and you'll go North on 61st. Go til you see 20th Street, and take a...left? (go with what Mapquest says, as i honestly cant remember). The library is a large building on the North side of the street.

If Mapquest gives you issues, email me and i can send you my cell phone number to call me the day of and ill guide you in.

Re: Random Browncoat here via the Cortex

Shiny! Thanks, I'll be there.

Re: Random Browncoat here via the Cortex

Ill be wearing my cunning hat, and will most likely be somewhere in the front. so come say hello and introduce yourself. :)

Re: Random Browncoat here via the Cortex

Ooh, hat. I have pink hair, and will likely be wandering around like I have no idea where I am. I can't wait!
